Welcome one of our newest vendors, Black Forest Jewelry! They specifically work with niobium and black niobium. Black Forest Body Jewelry has built their name crafting pieces from this metal; prized for being biocompatible, lightweight, and remarkably durable. We have been loving their designs, and we know you will too!

Piercer and Owner of Black Forest Body Jewelry

How long have you been around for?

Black Forest was established in 2015 and grew from my experience as a piercer and studio owner. I’ve owned two piercing studios since 2003 and have been a member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) since 2010.

How do you come up with the designs?

Our designs are inspired by working directly with clients and seeing what they’re looking for in the studio. Being piercer-owned gives us a firsthand understanding of how people curate their piercings and allows us to create jewelry that feels unique, wearable, and functional.

Where are you based?

Black Forest is based in Wilmington, North Carolina.

How often do you have new designs come out?

We aim to release a limited drop about once a month, with additional designs added to our regular collection throughout the year. We’re always looking for ways to bring something new and fresh to the piercing community.

Do you have a favorite piece or collection?

It’s hard to choose just one. We’re most proud of continuing to bring fresh, original designs to the industry while working exclusively with niobium. We love creating pieces that feel different from what’s already available and give clients something they can truly make their own.
