Experienced Jewelry Consultant

Jewelry Consultants at Evolution work with clients prior to their service to set them up for an exceptional piercing experience. Compensation for an experienced jewelry consultant starts $17 an hour + commissions and tips with higher salary potential for individuals with more extensive experience or other qualifications. A Jewelry Consultant at Evolution is responsible for the following: 

• Greeting clients, communicating safety protocols, and setting them up to have the best experience possible;

• Assisting clients in completing forms and verifying identification and other legal requirements are met;

• Guiding clients through their jewelry selection and styling experience based on their lifestyle and preferences;

• Providing clients with all the information they need about jewelry styles, materials, gemstones, and piercing care, as well as having answers to frequently asked questions readily available;

• Keeping the reception area disinfected and tidy;

• Cashiering;

• Various other tasks as needed to support our team.

Minimum Job Requirements: 

• 1 year of piercing industry specific experience (those with less experience may apply for our Concierge position and have the potential to be promoted to Jewelry Consultant from there);

• Cash handling/cashiering experience;

• Ability and desire to learn about body piercings and educate clients on the subject.
