Concierge
The Concierge position is an entry-level role designed to help support our team of piercers and jewelry professionals, and improve wait times for clients who wish to be seen without an appointment. This job would be perfect for someone who really wants to join our team, but doesn’t have a lot of familiarity or experience in the body piercing industry. Compensation starts $14 an hour + commissions and tips with an opportunity for a pay increase after 90 days. We also have a generous benefits package for full time employees. Someone who excels at this position would have opportunities for growth within the company.
A Concierge at Evolution is responsible for the following:
Greeting clients, communicating safety protocols, and setting them up to have the best experience possible;
Manage the pace at which appointments and walk-ins are accommodated by communicating wait times and maintaining communication with walk-in clients who want to leave and come back;
Assisting clients in completing forms and verifying identification and other legal requirements are met;
Providing clients with all the information they need by having answers to frequently asked questions readily available, and directing them to a jewelry professional or piercer for questions specific to those professions;
Answering phones and directing calls or taking messages;
Keeping the reception area disinfected and tidy;
Cashiering;
Various other tasks as needed to support our team of jewelry professionals and piercers.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Customer service experience;
Experience cashiering;
Ability and desire to learn about body piercings and educate clients on the subject.
