Q: What does a Concierge do at Evolution?

A Concierge is the first point of contact for our clients. This entry-level role is all about creating a welcoming, supportive experience from the moment someone enters our studio. Concierges help clients check in, manage walk-in wait times, answer general questions, cashier, keep the reception area tidy, and support the piercers and jewelry professionals behind the scenes.

This is a great position for someone who loves customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow within the piercing and jewelry industry.

Q: What’s the difference between a Concierge and a Jewelry Professional?

The Concierge is an entry-level, client-support role focused on making the studio experience smooth and welcoming. By contrast, an Experienced Jewelry Professional (or Jewelry Consultant) works more directly with clients on jewelry selection and styling. Jewelry Professionals guide clients in choosing pieces that fit their lifestyle and aesthetic, provide education about materials and care, and help prepare them for their piercing service.

In short: Concierge = client support and flow management; Jewelry Professional = jewelry guidance and styling expertise.

Q: What qualifications are needed for each position?

  • Concierge: No piercing industry experience required. We ask for customer service (client experience) and cashiering background, plus a genuine interest in learning about piercing and jewelry.

  • Jewelry Professional: At least 1 year of piercing industry–specific experience, along with strong customer service (client-facing) skills and cashiering experience. Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply for the Concierge role, with the potential to advance.

Q: Will I receive training?

Yes. Ongoing education and mentorship are built into how we work at Evolution. From client experience skills to jewelry knowledge, piercing safety, and leadership training, we’re invested in helping every team member grow.
