Cheek piercings will be performed as Single-Point piercings. Evolution will not perform “traditional” cheek piercings. “Dimple” piercings can pose many problems to oral structures such as damage to salivary glands, and severe scarring. Performing single-point piercings in this area is more safe and appropriate since the jewelry is placed just under the skin’s surface and is not going through the entire cheek into the mouth.
