Ari (She/Her), Jewelry Consultant

Hi! I'm Ari. You can catch me at the Carlisle location as concierge most days. Having moved from Southern California when I was about 5, I don't really have any memory of living anywhere else but here in New Mexico. Being a part of the team at Evolution was part luck and part skill for me, as I had worked in many uninteresting corporate settings before I joined the team. I was always interested in body modification as a youngling, however I really didn't have much of an avenue to get anything done since I was not allowed to have the one piercing that I wanted, a septum. Years later, I now have one plus many more that I never imagined I'd have, which has increased my sense of confidence and helped me explore my style and identity even more. My ultimate goal while working in the studio is to help people find ways to express their individuality. Whether it's one piercing or many, I believe that any new modification can be the catalyst to a transformation, and I love watching the smiles and reactions that everyone has once they find new jewelry they love and continue to get new piercings. I'm very excited to be a part of such an awesome industry, and honored to get to be a part of the process of decorating the body.

Outside of the studio, you can find me mostly at home enjoying what I call enrichment time in my enclosure. This includes napping, listening to music, playing World of Warcraft, and more napping. When I'm not doing that, I am tending to my vast houseplant collection and hanging out with my two cats, Ophelia and Salem.
